

Abby Davis was born and raised in Prince George, Virginia, and began her dance journey at the age of two. She has trained and competed in a variety of dance styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, hip-hop, pointe, and clogging. Abby has studied at Gotta Dance School of Performing Arts in Prince George, Starlight Studios in Dinwiddie, and Dance Kraze by Jennifer Andrews, also in Prince George. She began competing at the age of seven and has received numerous overall and judges' awards for group dances, trios, duos, and solos. She has also been awarded three scholarships to attend conventions hosted by Groove Dance Competition, World Class Talent Experience, and Power Pak by Starpower. In addition, she has performed in the opening numbers at three different national competitions. During her last two years of high school, Abby taught some of her own classes and had previously assisted classes for eight years. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance at Shenandoah University. Recently, Abby has completed residencies through her fraternity, Sigma Rho Delta, where she currently serves as Historian. Through the fraternity, she has had the opportunity to work with guest choreographers such as Mike Esperanza and Ehizojie Azeke.
